From the communication with Chris, the drivers, to Dr Henkel promising pain-free treatment, it has been fabulous.” Bernadette had been constantly seeing her GP for rheumatoid arthritis for over 20 years, and worsening pain in her left shin led her to two consultant visits. “It was a replacement consultant that referred me to an orthopedic surgeon who determined I would need a knee replacement. He told me the wait would be three to four years for an operation. The pain was getting worse and worse, and then my granddaughter told me about her friend’s father who had gone through Healthcare Abroad for treatment.”
“I rang Chris and looked over the stories on Facebook. With the scams out there, you can never be too sure especially when I was putting my faith in a hospital in another country. Nobody wants an operation, but this is the way to go if you need one. The care has been brilliant and the physiotherapy very advanced. All along, the focus has been on a pain-free treatment, and I know that soon I will be able to get back to doing lots of walking once again and travelling with my husband. I plan on taking some leaflets home to take to my GP and going to tell people to consider Healthcare Abroad when they need treatment.”
